Hello all.
As you may have noticed, there has been blog silence for some time.
Honestly, I just haven’t experienced anything truly worth writing about. When I started this blog it was so I could vent as needed and not explode. Recently I haven’t really had anything I needed to vent about.
That is a good thing for those of you keeping track.
I am looking into picking it back up under a different motivation because my anger-ridden motivation just doesn’t really exist right now.
Peace.
So as a nice family event I sat down to watch a movie tonight with my mother over dinner.
We watched the Sci-Fi movie, TinMan, a 6 hour re-imagining of the Wizard of Oz universe. All in all it was a pretty decent movie. Long but still enjoyable.
There was one scene, however, where my mother uttered a phrase which made me laugh until tears rolled down my cheeks.
Scene: An Unkempt man is circling D.G. in a small room.
D.G. (main character): Where are my friends?
Unknown Man: The last I saw, they were putting up quite the fight.
D.G.: So you only get one quarter of the bounty then.
Unknown Man: I’m not interested in the money.
D.G.: Oh. Where I come from you people drive vans.
My Mother, with the utmost sincerity: Hippies?
Merry Christmas all!
Or, as a more probable source I ganked it from Tysgirl. (more specifically I copied it from JennE)
Pardon the random formatting, I’m tired and don’t really care.

7. Do you have a nativity scene? No.

10. The worst Christmas present you ever got? One time when I was about, I guess 4 or 5, my Brother wrapped some plain white briefs in a box as a gag gift. Yeah. It was cute to watch the soul-crushing disappointment as I opened my gift. Come to think of it, I think I just solved #8. 11. Mail or email Christmas cards? If I remember to stop by a store real, If I forget day-late emails.
