What the internet is all about.

Alright. So pretty much everyone alive who uses the internet has heard about the Star Wars Kid. Basically, a video was made of him swinging a golf club around like a lightsaber. The video got out, made the internet rounds, *boom* instant celebrity. Well, he collapsed under it, became incredibly embarrassed, dropped out of school and had to finish in a child psychiatry ward. What? Yeah, I agree. Loser.

Fast forward to Gary Brolsma. Overweight guy who danced along to a song on a webcam. Same scenario, made the rounds, *boom* instant celebrity. Nothing more was ever said. Until now. I always said that if I was a fat guy. err… If I was a fat guy that made a stupid video. hrm. That doesn’t work either. If I was a fat guy that made a video that was published online. *sigh*

Anyway. Moving on.

Here is the original video. Below that will be what Mr. Brolsma did to follow-up that video. Hide in a corner and cry? Possibly. Rise to the challenge of internet stardom? Definitely. Kudos to you Gary Brolsma.

Good newness:

Also, just so you don’t forget that the internet IS, without a doubt, inherently evil, I bring you a glimpse into the seedy pop culture that is Sweden. (Not necessarily work inappropriate, but use caution.)
