End of my Second week.
Well, I have finished my second week at my new job.
I couldn’t be more pleased with it.
I am looking forward to feeling fully comfortable with what I am doing though. I am relearning quite a bit that I already knew and learning even more that I didn’t. I also have to switch my mindset from ‘programmer’ to ‘data programmer’. My experience has been based around getting data and manipulating it programatically to fit my needs. Now I need be, shall we say, a little bit more selective in the data I retrieve. By ‘a little bit’ I mean ‘475,216.38%’ more selective.
Either way I am looking forward to the challenges of my job and meeting and exceeding all expections placed on me.
Onward I go into week three!
