Hello everyone.

Welcome to day 4. Prepare to be saddened by the lack of good content.

Since this little project started off as a request for a list, I am going to provide 4 bullet point items which will cover me through the weekend.

Reason being, I have a pretty packed schedule this weekend and don’t want to risk incurring the wrath of she-knows-who by missing a post. Is this cheating? Yep.

My goal is, if I have time, to come back and flesh these points out, or answer any of the questions you people claim to inquire about (yet have I seen an actual question yet? no.) if you decide to post them. We will see how it goes. Now, let me begin.

4. 4) I am a recent convert to football. Last year as a matter of fact. Previously my interest in sports was pretty minimal. Sure I would catch the occasional hockey game (go Stars!) or the occasional basketball game (go Mavs!), never really caught on to the whole baseball obsession and I didn’t really get into football. Last season however, I went to watch several football games with some friends of mine who are hardcore Chicago Bears fans. In observing these games, and the fans, and the fun, I quickly got into it and with the stellar season the Bears had, I became hooked. Go Bears!
5. 5) I have run a company for many many years with varying degrees of success. Also had several musicians as clients. Through one of these I ended up dealing with VH1 and managing several web-spots for the band and had the site we did for them reviewed in Entertainment Weekly. Good times! I also managed a band locally which ended up splitting shortly after they began making the rise. (R.I.P.)
6. 6) I have very diverse musical tastes. Sure I love the old standards (80’s music will always have a special place in my heart) but I also enjoy listening to the random unknowns. Often you will find that some of the best music, which is played with pure passion for the art, will never make it outside of a neighbors garage. I exaggerate but I think you all know what I mean. I am also quite picky on the music I enjoy listening to. What I mean by that is I may love one song while I am in a certain mood and hate it the next.

At the beginning of this little journey I was using phrases like ‘meme’ and ‘tagged’ and ‘Möbius strip’ which began to make me wonder if I am using the appropriate bloggers’ Lexicon. And that brings me to my next point. (Yes, I started a sentance with the word and)

Lexicon. I am Lexicon. Lexicon is my “Gamer” persona. I dig gaming. It is relaxing to me. I don’t necessarily view it as an escape but it is typically a low-stress way to spend my time. I find that I can just relax or enter that state of focused intent whether I am kicking back playing the latest RPG (Role-Playing Game for those uninitiated) or trying to get off a headshot in CS:Source. Okay, quick point. I want to make it perfectly clear that I am, in no way, for Terrorism, but I mean come on, they get to dual wield pistols! You mean to tell me that after many years of intense specialized counter terrorism training that I must’ve slept through the ‘You Can Use The Other Hand’ class?

I will pause briefly so you can laugh at the ‘You Can Use The Other Hand’ class comment. Finished? Come along then.

That about wraps up tonights edition of ‘Aspects of Jeff’ so I will leave you with a few words of wisdom. Sure appending the phrases ‘Between the Sheets’ or ‘In Accordance with Prophecy’ to fortune cookie messages is an easy way to score a laugh or at least a one-handed clap I must remind you that at no time is it appropriate to do the same in a court room setting. Don’t know from personal experience but it seems like it would get you in trouble or at least make the judge bang his gavel a few times.

Alright. We have discussed (by we have discussed, I of course mean I posted and perhaps 2 or 3 people read, only 1 responded, not quite a discussion, but it will have to do for now I suppose) my procrastination and my work habits.

Moving on to a question that was posed to me concerning a photo in my archives in which I was sporting a mullet and my arms were covered in tattoos. To clear up any questions, that is not, in fact, my normal appearance. First, being in the mere presence of a mullet was like krytonite to my intellect. Second, I don’t exactly have the sort of physique to pull off a tattoed look. As it stands right now, the only tattoo which would seem to fit would be a full back tattoo depicting me eating a ham.

Now, I kid. It wouldn’t necessarily have to be a ham, a rack of ribs or a juicy steak would do as well.

“So why don’t you lose some weight Mr. Fatty McPhatFat?” you ask. Well, honestly because I have been using it as a protection mechanism in order to prevent me from having any chance of getting into a relationship. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to work as my “personality” tends to outweight my … well … me. So what all of this boils down to is that now I’m just overweight -and- forcibly unhappy. Good news though is that I am still making progress on tearing down the walls I built for myself. Slowly. One brick or so at a time. Afterall, Fatty’s gotta eat!

Now some of you will know of the walls I speak and the circumstances surrounding my putting them up in the first place, others amongst you will not. Feel free to ask if you are so inclined, as I have said before, I am an open book and, based on my size, I would say I’m probably an encyclopedia. Yet the issue remains that most people are only interested in reading a cliff notes version. If they actually begin reading the book they are usually pressuring me to get to work on my sequel.

Anyone want to suggest a topic of discussion for my part 3?

Well, I believe enough time has passed.

I have been tagged to do a meme by the proprietor of this site right here which, little known fact, was the original title of Seal’s 1991 release ‘Crazy’.

I’ve decided that since I can’t just sit down and write out a full top 10 list (in no particular order) of things one might want to know about me (ie. Random facts about myself) I would do them as I see fit, at least one a day, over the next (maximum) 10 days.

Come gentle reader, let’s begin, shall we?

First, and quite honestly, one of the most important facts about me is the key to understanding my work patterns. I come with three modes. Procrastination (If you didn’t know this before, you do now), intense focus and the moderate. When I set my mind on a task, I can become fully focused on that task and it is hard to drag me away. Minutes, hours and even days can pass while I funnel my energy on the task at hand. This is not to say that I don’t multitask, I do, it just comes down to worlds of difference in my productivity between normal stages of focus and my periods of intense focus. I need to cultivate that mindset and utilize it more frequently.

Well, that is my first little non-bullet bullet point. Questions? Comments? You know what to do.

Horrible story.

The Story

The Summary: A British mechanic who claimed he was sleepwalking when he had sex with a 15-year-old girl has been cleared of rape. Mr Ecott did not deny having sex with the girl, but said he had no memory of it happening. Instead he insisted he had a condition known as sexsomnia in which sufferers carry out indecent acts in their sleep

My question: When he was finished, did he roll over and wake up?
