Day 3.
At the beginning of this little journey I was using phrases like ‘meme’ and ‘tagged’ and ‘Möbius strip’ which began to make me wonder if I am using the appropriate bloggers’ Lexicon. And that brings me to my next point. (Yes, I started a sentance with the word and)
Lexicon. I am Lexicon. Lexicon is my “Gamer” persona. I dig gaming. It is relaxing to me. I don’t necessarily view it as an escape but it is typically a low-stress way to spend my time. I find that I can just relax or enter that state of focused intent whether I am kicking back playing the latest RPG (Role-Playing Game for those uninitiated) or trying to get off a headshot in CS:Source. Okay, quick point. I want to make it perfectly clear that I am, in no way, for Terrorism, but I mean come on, they get to dual wield pistols! You mean to tell me that after many years of intense specialized counter terrorism training that I must’ve slept through the ‘You Can Use The Other Hand’ class?
I will pause briefly so you can laugh at the ‘You Can Use The Other Hand’ class comment. Finished? Come along then.
That about wraps up tonights edition of ‘Aspects of Jeff’ so I will leave you with a few words of wisdom. Sure appending the phrases ‘Between the Sheets’ or ‘In Accordance with Prophecy’ to fortune cookie messages is an easy way to score a laugh or at least a one-handed clap I must remind you that at no time is it appropriate to do the same in a court room setting. Don’t know from personal experience but it seems like it would get you in trouble or at least make the judge bang his gavel a few times.
As a fun side project — why don’t you see how many sexual euphemisms you can derive from this post?

At least 8, but my hubby would prolly find more. He is also into all those “shoot-em-up” online games. Plus online WW2 flight sims. It keeps him out of trouble at least. I’m more into the Elder Scroll crap. That and those damn SIMS. I just love to build the houses. FYI…..’In Bed” is also a popular fortune cookie ending.
@JTEwhatever: Personally I think it would be funny to use “In Bed” following the phrase “Let us put this motion to rest!”
As for the gaming, yeah I run the gambit. From Morrowind to Morrowind 2. lol.
Never did get into the SIMs although I am looking forward to the upcoming ‘Spore’
I don’t get the whole “gaming” thingg, but my friend’s husband is into those online, roll-playing things. She HATES it because he’ll stay up super late and then complain about being tired the next day. Duh.
I can’t afford to get into another addiction/hobby so I will remain blissfully ignorant of that dark world you speak of.
Oh and your comment on my blog (about the crabs) totally cracked me up. Seriously…these chicks had WAY more than just crabs, I’m sure of it!
thing…not thingg…I’m old, I have a hard time seeing my comment as I’m typing it in the little box.
does firing up the playstation once a year to beat up a hooker and steal a tank on Grand Theft Auto count?
I’m failing to se e how Kansas inspired this post
@SoozieQ: What can I say? I got sucked in early and somehow doubt I will ever leave.
@tysgirl: Playstation or not, if you beat up a hooker and steal a tank once a year, you are A-OK in my book.
